Cats

Abby. Just in case you were wondering, she weighs 20 pounds!

Pippy, the crazy little "pip squeak". Found her in Shon's mom and dad's garage as a tiny baby kitten, almost starving to death. she was cold, wild and scared. Shon went to pick her up and she hissed and spat at him. I went over with some canned kitten food to give her, she gobbled it up ferociously! Shon tried to pet her when she was eating and she latched onto the end of his finger with her tiny little teeth!

This is Buddy, the stray that decided to live at my house!
Yes, he really does sleep upside down.

I am sad to report that we had to put Buddy down Friday March 21st. We are not sure what happened to him, I went out to feed the horses and he jumped down off the haypile and just about fell over. Then he staggered out of the hayshed and lay down in the yard. I picked him up and he was limp as a ragdoll. We took him to the vet, they did a bloodtest for feline leukemia, he didn't have that. So we will never know what happened to him, but he was suffering while we were in the vet's office, so I decided to have him put down. He will be missed, he was quite the character. Rest in peace Buddy. We buried him in the yard at one of his favorite places to sit in the sun.
