My Rabbits!

I started collecting rabbits by rescuing some from work.  There were 2 adults and 9 babies living in the landscaping out in front of corporate headquarters.  Of course they keep breeding, so they decided to hire an exterminating company to trap them and take them to a "farm".  I didn't believe that, so we went down on a Saturday and caught the 2 adults and 5 of the 9 babies.  We caught the other 4 during work using cages with food in them for traps. We let the adults go at Shon's parents place, in the hayshed.  I kept 3 babies, and adopted the rest out.    Then we decided to breed one of the rabbits, and so ended up with bunches.  Then we moved 3 houses down from Shon's parents, one of the rabbits we let go down there was living under the shed at our new house!!  When we got here I let 2 more go, of course that 2 turned in to bunches more.  Pretty soon I had 9 running around my yard,  living under the house and the shed.  Then the neighbor didn't like them going to his house and eating their flowers, so I ended up having to catch all 9 of them.  Not long after I got them situated, they started having litters!!! Bunches more....  So I had to give a bunch of them up, they all got good homes.  Then I found another one hopping around my yard one day, then a friend brought 2 over that he found in the middle of the road in the neighborhood.  Then 2 that I gave away to a friend came back, so my herd grew again!  Then I got Dorian from Amy, he's another Netherland Dwarf that will be with me unless Amy wants him back.  So, that's the story of the rabbits and why I have so many.
