This gorgeous Black Lab was introduced to me on April 7th, 2001, and I knew I
had to have a new friend. When Bubba's litter was pups, I got to see all of them
progress with their new lives. When Bubba was about 2 to 2 1/2 months old, I started
to throw a tennis ball for him, he wouldn't always bring it back but he would
always go get it. I hoped deep down inside we were going to get along just fine.
I've always been an avid bird hunter, I liked what I was seeing so I decided he
was going to be my little pudgy buddy that I was going to put the effort into.
With a lot of hard work and patience, he and I have a bond that I feel will always
be strong. We worked on a lot of things, too many to list. But through it all
we have the utmost respect for each other.
Bubba is both hand signal and voice command trained, and is more than eager to please and put a smile on my face, all for a hug. Yes, he is a very affectionate boy. I see a lot of his father in him, just in a different color. His father is a chocolate, his mother is a black. Bubba's mother is an achiever also. She is a beautiful black that I have hunted upland and waterfowl over. She has a phenomenal nose for birds.
If I wasn't so proud of him, I wouldn't offer him as a stud for your female. I too, would like to see you enjoy the companionship and loyalty that I am experiencing.
