Ricky

Ricky is my youngest, just turning 7 in 2010. He's a registered breeding stock APHA, my most challenging horse to deal with by far.

Here's the first trim with him that I have photographed, he was overdue for this trim as you can see in the before pictures. I can't recall when his last trim was, so we're starting over here.

January 24, 2010 - This trim at 8 weeks from the last.

February 21, 2010 - Four weeks from last trim. This horse has never had shoes. He has never had a problem walking on any terrain, has been on a few trail rides barefoot. He used to be prone to abcesses before I started the natural barefoot trim with him, has not had any since I took over his care.
